Delera |
Associate Professor, born in Milan,1956, she
received her degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of
Milan in 1980. A freelance architect, she began her design and research
activities with a focus on living innovation in 1981. In 1994 she
received her Research Doctorate in “Technology of Architecture and the
Environment”. Between 1995 and 1996 she earned a scholarship for a
post-doctorate research project aimed at defining some new residential
design quality categories. From 1996 to 2000 she was the responsible professor in the second Faculty of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan (Bovisa Campus) for teaching in the Architecture 1 Construction Laboratory. She was the director for implementing the applied research program that Aler, Federcasa and the Lombardy Region commissioned to the ABITA Laboratory entitled “Resident participation and sustainable improvement project of the courts of Via Maratta 3 and Piazza Monte Falterona 1 and 3. San Siro district - Milan” in Milan (2002/03). Since 1986 she has been actively involved with the Housing yearbook and became a member of the executive committee in 1994. She works with various magazines (Ottagono, Costruire, Costruire in laterizio, Urbanistica Informazione, Architetti) and has written papers in specialised texts |
