Curriculum Vitae


Cesira Macchia

   Graduated at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic of Milan in 1971.
She is temporary professor of “Architecture Technology”, of “Materials and project of construction elements”, and of  “Construction elements project”, of “Production management and planning” at the Faculty for Architecture Graduation, for Industrial Drawing Graduation, and the Building Diploma.
Since 1998 she is a Second level professor.
Her research activity focuses mainly on two interconnected fields:
· Traditional and new materials: industrial sectors supplying materials, semi-finished products and components are taken into account,
She manages Materials Archives
·  Safety and health of operators of construction sector:
Her teaching activity concerns principally issues related to industrial products, with special attention to their role in the project process, new criteria used for their manufacture and their application, environment problems related to their life cycle, statutory rules. Such topics are dealt with in the following courses: Materials and project of construction elements, production Management and Planning, Technological Experimentation and Certification.
She also manages and co-ordinates THE TRAINING COURSE ON “SAFETY AND HEALTH IN THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR ”.
