Emilia Costa

   Researcher in Technology in Architecture at the Faculty of Civil Architecture at the Polytechnic University in Milan.
I have made my PhD course during the years 1989-1992. I have organized four courses for professionals about ecological architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of Milan in the years 1989-90-91-92 and courses IFTS (the organizing partners were the Faculty of Architecture of Florence, the Faculty of Engineering of Potenza, the Tuscany Region and the Province of Massa Carrara), 1200 hours long, held in the same time in the cities of Potenza and Pontremoli in the year 1999-2000. I have been teacher of ecological architecture in the courses for professionals in ecological construction organised in the Faculty of Engineering of Bologna.
I have produced works as a professional in the fields of building restoration and design of new buildings applying the principles of ecosustainable architecture, and as a consultant, on these same issues, for public administrations.
Presently I am a consultant for the Municipality of Modena. I have lectured in several conferences on various themes, like ecological design at building and urban scale, and on the specific themes regarding ecological architecture in various public and private structures in Italy between 1990 to now.
