Eliot Laniado

   1948, born in Cairo (Egipt);
1976, he degrees in Electronic Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano;
1978-today: CNR researcher;
1981-1987: he carries out the official Course Of Theory of Systems at the Politecnico di Milano as Contract Professor;
1987: he is a member of the scientific commission created by the Ministry of the Environment with the charge of defining the guidelines for the introduction of the Environmental Impact Evaluation in Italy;
1988-1990: he is Contract Professor for the integrative course of Advanced Topics of Ecology at the Università di Padova.
1989: he wins the first edition of the Philip Morris Prize for the scientific and technological research with the project "Prontobus";
1992-today: he carries out the official course of Economics Applied to Engineering at the Faculty of Environmetal Engineering, Politecnico di Milano;
1996-1998: he is scientific responsible  for the CEE's Transprice project (DG VII-Transportation);
1996-today: director of the research centre Poliedra -Politecnico di Milano for the Economy and Management of Environment and Territory;
1997-today: member of the Scientific Counsil of the Department for the National Technical Services in the Counsil of Ministries.
1999-today: scientific coordinator of the work group for the creation of the document defining the objectives of the mobility and transportaion plan of the Lombardy Region.
