Giancarlo Paganin

   Date and place of birth: 25.05.1963 - ROME
Civil Engineer, PhD in Building Engineering.
From march 2002 he’s researcher at Politecnico di Milano, Prima Facoltà di Architettura, Dipartimento BEST “Building & Environment Science & Technology”.
His research activity has been developed on the main following themes: energy saving, planned maintenance, durability and reliability of technical elements and components, quality assurance and quality control in building, occupational health and safety, fire safety, environmental management systems.
From 1988 to 1994 activity in the field of civil and HVAC design, technical consultant in the field of thermal and acoustic insulation and fire safety, consultant on building technology.
From 1994 to February 2002 Responsible for the Construction Activity inside the Italian branch of  the multinational corporation BUREAU VERITAS
He’s professor, inside the “Prima Facoltà di Architettura” of Politecnico di Milano of the following courses:
He’s trainer at training courses for professionals and he’s qualified assessor of  management systems QHSE (quality, health & safety, environment) according to international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 acting on behalf of international certification and inspection bodies.
