Gianni  Scudo

   Graduated in architecture in 1971 at the University of Venice,
He has been working as scholarship owner and researcher until 1978 at IUAV  and as temporarily appointed Prof. of Technical Physics since 1978 to 1985 at the DPPPE of the Polytechnic of Milan in the field og bio-climatic project.
During the 70s he has carried out a lot of research and teaching activity  also - “extra mural” – in the sector of environment control and integration of renewable resources in the project of built environment (national programs of ENEA, CNR, MURST; community programs COMET, BRITE e THERMIE)
Since 1985 Second level professor of technology of Architecture at the DPPPE.
He carried out teaching and research activity in some European universities; in 1997 he was “Visiting Professor” at the Dep. of Construccion de l’Arquitectura of the Polytechnic of Catalunia in Barcellona. He has been publishing books and articles on bio-climatic project, innovative technologies in air-conditioning systems, construction technologies suitable to local context.
Since  1996 he is co-director ( with Proff. Baglioni and Di Battista) of the journal Ambiente costruito  and Biotecnica ed Architettura , editor Maggioli.
Since ‘99 he is co-ordinator of GL 13 – sustainable building of building commission of UNI.
