Lorenzo Jurina

   Born on May 1949, Graduation in Civil Engineering, Structural specialization, on February 1974. Since 1983 Second level professor  of Construction Science and then of Construction Technique at the Polytechnic of Milan, Structural Engineering Department.
Since 1993 teacher of the course “Structural problems of monuments and of historical buildings ” at the Special School of Monuments restoration of the Polytechnic of Milan. Since 1998 teacher of  the Research Doctoral Level of Architectural Property, seated at the Polytechnic of Milan.
Expert of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs  for different missions at the Piura University (Perou) and the Alma Ata Technical University (Kazakhstan); consultant of the Word Monument Found; director of many courses, seminars, and conferences on the Monumental buildings Conservation. Since 1976 he is a freelance boasting experience in analysis and structural consolidation.
He wrote more than 50 technical and scientific articles published on national and international journals on: geotechniques and deep foundation, structural identification and optimization, space reticular metal structures, analysis and monuments consolidation.
President and founding member of the ARES association (Architectural Environment Restoration).
