Luca Marescotti

   He teaches Technologies of protection and environment reuse at the Faculty of Architecture  (campus Leonardo).
In 1969 graduated at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic of Milan. His studies and applications relate to different sectors concerning the new disciplines of town-planning and their consolidation, both as to tools – such as quantitative methods and techniques, cartography, automatic mapping and information systems, photogrammetry, and survey techniques – as to special sectors – such as cultural property, urban renewal and transportation means with relevant technological innovations.
Within the Polytechnic of Milan he was the scientific responsible for different research projects and of third parties in contracts with the Local Authorities (Mantua and Milan), with the Lombardia region, the Cise, MeglioMilano and Ibm Semea.
In the academic year 1995-1996 for the Special school for monuments he has been appointed to held the course and seminar Theory of cultural property cataloguing.
For the DI.Tec-Department of Industrial Drawing and Architecture technologies he deals with cultural property (research program Cofin 98 Murst for the information system project) as well as environmental technologies and infrastructures (traffic planning, centralised traffic-lights control, and technological networks).
