Niccolò Aste

   Decree in Architecture, Faculty of Architecture, 1994. PHD in Technical Innovations and Project in Architecture, XI Task. Industrial Design and Architectural Technology Department, Politecnico of Milano, 1999. Assignee of a Research at Politecnico of Milano, 2000. Starting from 1995, he co-operates with the Industrial Design and Architectural Technology Department and with the Department of Energetics of Politecnico of Milan in researches on the exploitation of renewable energetic sources and their use in building industry, both urban and territorial. The experiences he has undertaken and the studies he has attended represented the grounds for his collaboration to several research programs, both national and  international. He is specialised in Solar Energy, Photovoltaic Technology, Solar Thermal Technology, Hybrid Photovoltaic thermal Systems. He has take part, in his quality of consultant for solar energy,to the drafting of the Energy Plans of the city of Palermo, Torino, Siena and Trento. He has published several articles and lectures on the aforementioned issues and researches. In particular, on the integration of active solar systems and on the planning of sustainable built environment. He has participated to conferences and national and international seminaries on employment of the renewable energy sources in architecture and on the photovoltaic technology.
