Stefano della Torre

   Born in Cernobbio (Como) in 1955.
Graduated in Civil Engineering, building sect., Structural specilization, at the Polytechnic of Milan in 1980.
Graduation in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan in 1986.
Winner of the free post competition for permanent  researcher for the 140 group (sub-sectors: Monuments restoration and Urban Restoration Technique) of the faculty of Engineering of the Polytechnic of Milan.
Appointed researcher at the Department of Engineering for the Town and Territory Recovery of the Polytechnic of Milan on 1 January 1984. Confirmed as permanent staff member starting from 1 January 1987.
Winner of the post competition for permanent Professor of second level for the H130 (Restoration)
Since 1 November 1992 appointed second level Professor of Restoration at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Brescia, at the Civil Engineering Department.
Since the academic year 1995/96 he is a teacher of the Special School of Monuments Restoration of the Polytechnic of Milan.
Since 1 March 2001 Full professor of Architectural Restoration of the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic of Milan.
He is a consultant of Lombardia Regional Government for policies of planned conservation of Built Cultural Heritage.
