Architecture graduated, has participated in several
research activities in the field of renewable energies, energy saving
and comfort in built-environment.
Since 1994 he has collaborated with the Dept. DI.Tec of Politecnico of
Milan in scientific research and teaching in the field of bio-climatic
concepts and low energy technologies. From 1996 to 2001 he was a
consultant for the Institute of Research Ambiente Italia and
successfully completed several studies on the energy planning at urban
scale and energy audits for buildings retrofit. From 1998 to 2001 he
worked as a Research Fellow at the Politecnico on the Development of
software tools for the configuration of urban building regulations and
standards towards reducing CO2 emissions.
Since 2001 he is a regular Researcher of Applied Environmental Physics
at Dept. BEST of Politecnico and he engages in teaching and research,
developing activities on solar energy technologies, advanced
technologies for sustainable buildings and comfort in outdoor spaces.
