Curriculum Vitae


Silvia Piardi

   Architect, professor of "Tecnologia dell'Architettura" (Building Construction) at Politecnico of Milan, is responsible for a Design and Construction Atelier at the faculty of Architecture (theme: residential buildings) and a Design Atelier at the faculty of Design (theme: Yacht design).
Her scientific and teaching activity concerns the relationship among users requirements, building rules and technical alternatives in a sustainable context.  Topic issues are: building regulations; indoor air quality and design; environmental issues. Responsible of researches sponsored by Ministry of Labour and Social Security, of  University and of Health, by the National Research Council, and by other private and public bodies.
Author of more than 100 Publications, including five books, she takes part in national and international Conferences. Member of the CEE Working Group 10C, “Evaluation of Building Products”, of the “International Network on the History of Occupational Prevention, of the “International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate”.
