Associate Professor, in January 2002 Stefano got his
PhD degree concluding successfully the XIV doctoral program within
Business and Innovation Management research group of the Department of
Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at Politecnico. The
work carried on during his PhD is part of a joint research project
between Politecnico di Milano and the MIT - Massachusetts Institute of
Technology .His studies, from 1999 to 2001, have initially concerned
the area of Continuous Innovation and Knowledge Management in new
product development, exploiting different empirical methodologies.
Since year 2000, a second research stream on Supply Chain Management
and Customer-Supplier relationship has started. Recently, the research
focus has been placed on Supply Chain Management and Organization of
the Construction Site, Multi-Project Management, and Project
Procurement Management in the Construction Industry.
On the previous topics he participated in many consulting projects both
in Italy and abroad (e.g. Nestlè, Mazzucconi,
Procter&Gamble, Italcementi, Manuli Rubber).
On the mentioned areas he is also author or co-author of international
journal and conference papers He his member of the Italian Management
Engineering Association (AiIG), the European Operations Management
Association (EurOMA) and the Continuous Innovation Network (CINet).
